mysql is using a lot the CPU. /etc/init.d/mysql stop is the only solution I can find for the moment. I don't have a need for mysql, but I don't want to uninstall it

I can't find anything in ls -l /var/log/mysql*
      Code:
-rw-r----- 1 mysql adm    0 Jun 30 22:33 /var/log/mysql.err
-rw-r----- 1 mysql adm    0 Jun 30 22:33 /var/log/mysql.log
-rw-r----- 1 mysql adm   20 Jun 29 07:35 /var/log/mysql.log.1.gz

Very likely. Many reports trickle in for this. (Strongest indicator: #debian-devel has it in the topic)

To fix this the easiest solution is to just reboot your machine.

Ah, thanks. After rebooting mysql behaved. The Microsoft fix worked like a charm once again.
