I was working with Rstudio where suddenly the keyboard stopped working. I changed keyboard to realize that the problem was with KDE.
Then I logged in to fluxbox and the keyboard worked. Therefore something “cryptic to me” happens to KDE.
Any idea where to start the debugging process?

Thank you
I deleted .kde and reconfigured the desktop.
Problem solved, but this is the first time something so strange happens in my system during, almost, seven years using sid.

Seems with every KDE upgrade old configs get broken and hard to fix them without nuking the old .kde and letting KDE create a fresh new one and then having to go in and reconfigure all the settings again each time.

I've noticed such weirdness in the past which kicking .kde solved it.
