Post subject: [Solved] non existent actions in powermanager  PostPosted: 20.07.2012, 09:23

Since one of the latest updates due to again changing interface of Power/Battery Manager, I get tray notifications like this at my laptop:
      Code:
The profile "LowBattery" tried to activate DisableDesktopEffects, a non existent action

This is obviously a result that there are no more "Power Profiles" in power manager settings; but the old configurations are seemingly retained somewhere.

Any ideas how to cure this and/or reset the config for power manager?

I tried to force "reapply" of all settings via the Power Management GUI, but this did not help.

I think it was in
home/manul/.kde/share/config/powermanagementprofilesrc

I deleted the corresponding entry, and it fixed the issue.
