Akonadi does not start

Hello,
I created a sync of kaddressbook and now akonadi does not start.
I get the followng error "The akonadi personal information manager is not operational"
I cant access kmail:(

I deleted
~/.local/share/akonadi/
~/.config/akonadi/
~/.kde/share/config/akonadi*

but nothing good happens.
Any help?

Deleting those files/ directories is usually not a good idea…

To recover from this, you will have to do a number of steps (as the affected user):
      Code:
$ mkdir -p ~/.config/akonadi ~/.kde/share/config ~/.local
$ printf "%s\n%s\n" "[%General]" "Driver=QSQLITE3" > ~/.config/akonadi/akonadiserverrc

Thank you.
It works. I can sync contacts with google, but not calendars. This should be an other problem.

Why? Did anybody state that this is possible? You can export and import your calendars. btw how do you 'sync' your calendar?

Hello,
I can sync address book without almost without any problem (it does not keep the anniversary date.

In one PC I can sync (some times) one way the calendar.
